In the glass industry, potassium nitrate for glass is often used in glass products, and its function in glass is similar to that of sodium oxide. The radius of K + is larger than that of Na +, and the viscosity of potassium glass is larger than that of sodium glass, which can reduce the crystallization tendency of glass and increase the transparency and gloss of glass. This product  is often used as oxidant, clarifier and decolorizer in advanced utensil glass, glass ceramics, optical glass and technical glass.

The chemically strengthened glass is mainly glass with a thickness of less than 3mm. The high-purity potassium nitrate solution and matched catalyst are mixed and heated to about 420 ℃, and the potassium ions and sodium ions on the surface of the glass structure are exchanged to form a strengthening layer. Due to the slow exchange rate of potassium and sodium ions, the exchange time varies from 4 hours to 10 hours in order to make the glass have large stress value and stress layer thickness meeting the use requirements.

Potassium nitrate for glass used in glass belongs to industrial grade potassium nitrate (purity: 99.7% or 99.4%), molecular weight: 101.11, white powder, easily soluble in water, melting point: 334 ℃, continue heating until 400 ℃, decompose and release oxygen.

Packaging: plastic woven bag or paper plastic composite bag, lined with plastic bag, net weight 25 / 50kg.
